ZEOS is part of the Zalando Group and was established in 2023 to expand our logistics services for leading fashion & lifestyle brands and retailers.
ZEOS turns logistics into a driver of efficiency, sales and customer loyalty. Brands are able to serve customers across markets and sales channels with simplicity and flexibility, using one stock pool and one integration. With an infrastructure spanning 27 European markets, 14 fulfilment centres, 20 return centers, and ~40 carrier partners, ZEOS is built to let brands scale, adapt, and stay in control.
ZEOS is an independently operating unit and is SOC 2 Type II certified, following strict data compliance rules. Around 350 people work for ZEOS in Berlin and in Stockholm.
Started at Zalando
The solution Zalando built.
Selling fashion & lifestyle across Europe is complex – so Zalando created the solution. To deal with the fragmented markets and different customer expectations, Zalando built its own logistics infrastructure and orchestration technology. Refined over 17 years, this setup is still used by Zalando wholesale today.
When Zalando launched the Partner Program, it made this setup available to brands selling on Zalando. Those brands could use the same logistics, leverage the same technology and deliver the same exceptional customer experience across Europe.

ZEOS takes the infrastructure, technology, and expertise that powers Europe’s leading fashion & lifestyle brands on Zalando – and opens it up even further. ZEOS allows more brands to use the same capabilities across multiple marketplaces and their own online store.
ZEOS solves one of fashion & lifestyle’s biggest problems: stock fragmentation. Instead of splitting inventory across markets and channels, brands sell from a single stock pool. The result is simpler operations, better availability, more flexibility, and a consistent delivery and returns experience, wherever customers shop. This is logistics built for profitable growth.

SCAYLE powers brands’ own online stores. Tradebyte connects marketplaces. ZEOS handles goods across all channels. Each can be used on its own - but they also work together seamlessly, creating a highly integrated e-commerce engine for a powerful business advantage.

Jan Bartels
SVP at ZEOS
Jan is a true Zalando veteran, with 12 years in the company under his belt. Jan joined Zalando to build out its logistics capabilities and is now leading ZEOS to productise Zalando's infrastructure, software, and expertise.
Volker Bergner
VP Logistics and Commercial at ZEOS
As our Vice President of Logistics and Commercial, Volker brings a wealth of experience in tech, commercial, and operations functions to the table. Having held senior leadership roles in global, high-growth companies such as Tourlane and Wayfair, he proved the perfect addition to our leadership team.
Luis Ribeiro
VP Technology and Services at ZEOS
Luis brings over 21 years of tech expertise to ZEOS, having previously transformed Farfetch into a major public SaaS platform. He now leads our multidisciplinary teams to build innovative B2B solutions that help our partners and merchants thrive.
Sefa Magden
Director Business Finance Organisation at ZEOS
After 2.5 years at Zalando, Sefa joined ZEOS to lead our Finance, Pricing, Analytics & BI teams. With over 16 years of experience in different Finance leadership roles, he has built a varied experience and skill set, making him the perfect fit for our fast-scaling organisation.
Andreas Hoenl
Director Commercial at ZEOS
Andreas brings over 15 years of industry experience to our Commercial team as they scale the ZEOS operating system across Europe. Before joining us, he held various leadership positions at Wayfair, McKinsey and Waterland Private Equity - expertise he now uses to help brands and retailers manage multi-channel business and unlock their full potential.
Susanne Hoerlin
Head of Program Management at ZEOS
Through multifunctional managerial positions, Susanne has built profound knowledge in Business Operation and development. Today, she is leading ZEOS’ Portfolio, Program & Project Management teams, and steering the topic of organisational change management, supporting ZEOS's ambition to become an operating system for fashion & lifestyle.

Martha has been with us since 2012 and now leads the People & Organisation team for ZEOS. She’s focused on building a culture where everyone feels a sense of ownership and connection to our collective success.

With over 11 years at Zalando, Max has evolved from building core operations to working on the strategic roadmap of ZEOS Fulfilment. As Solution Product Manager, he ensures the service delivers high-impact results for merchants through operational excellence and market-leading offerings to build Europe’s leading B2B logistics ecosystem.

Viviane is the Head of Business Acceleration & Pricing and our expert for sustainability. For this role, she leverages her strategy and sustainability expertise, building on nearly a decade of experience at Zalando, along with prior roles in logistics and consulting.
