A Strategic Partnership for European Expansion

DK Company stands out as the first Danish brand to utilise ZEOS, expanding its reach across several major sales channels, with plans for further expansion in the future. This collaboration marks a strategic move to broaden DK Company’s presence in the competitive European market. Ultimately, it also aligns with Zalando’s strategic goal to increase market share in Europe to over 15%. This ambitious growth targets a strong position against global online retailers, including emerging Asian companies.

ZEOS: Simplifying multi-channel fulfilment

Launched in 2023, ZEOS is designed to streamline the complexities of selling across multiple large sales channels. By integrating fashion brands like DK Company into our ecosystem, we aim to reduce the challenges associated with different transport suppliers and payment solutions, thereby reducing costs and enhancing operational efficiency. DK Company is one of 29 fashion companies in Europe leveraging our fulfilment solution across multiple markets, demonstrating the robust potential of this collaboration.

Unlocking Europe: How DK Company benefited from ZEOS

DK Company views this collaboration as a strategic move to diversify risks across various markets, products, and brands. Jens Obel, CEO of DK Company, emphasises the importance of mitigating risk in the interview.

For us, it is crucial to always mitigate the risk with several markets, products, brands, etc. Therefore, it may seem surprising that we are now entering into such a partnership with ZEOS. But we see an advantage in that here we get one setup that can provide access to several of the major online companies in Europe.

Susanne Mikkelsen, Key Account Director at DK Company, highlights the benefits of this partnership.

ZEOS helps us stay sharp and challenges us in the field of online marketplaces. We already have strong partners in this area and our own online store, which we will continue to focus on despite this new partnership. That said, we have high expectations for what this collaboration can achieve with the largest digital marketplaces.
